Job Description:
You will contribute to the implementation of the end-user and integration part of IoT customer solutions that will also have both a custom hardware/firmware part and advanced analytic services.
You will work jointly with the customer team and the Moviri team starting from requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and release.
Full-time position at the Milan Office.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed design of custom software components;
- Implementation of custom software components;
- Unit and integration testing activities;
- Prototype development of new technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering;
- Experience in software development for thesis activities or other non-academic activities;
- Attitude in programming languages (example: JavaScript, Java, C#, C++);
- Familiarity with Linux OS systems administration;
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (http/s, SSH…) and concepts (Gateway, DNS, Routing);
- Basic knowledge of the most common architecture patterns: client/server, REST, Serverless;
- (Optional, Preferred) – Previous hands-on academic experience on Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google);
- (Optional, Preferred) – Git;
- (Optional, Preferred) – SQL;
- (Optional, Preferred) – Previous experience in IoT software projects;
- (Optional, Preferred) – Knowledge of embedded firmware development (in C/C++);
- (Optional, Preferred) – Knowledge of Arduino platform, devices, and tools;
- Effective communication skills;
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
