Akamas is looking for a hardworking, driven individual with energy, passion, and initiative for new business acquisitions. Reporting to the Global VP Sales, the Enterprise Sales Executive role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within the EMEA territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition. Responsibilities:

  • Building awareness and driving demand for Akamas solution within new Enterprise accounts by helping to automate the performance engineering, SRE, DevOps activities thanks to the AI power;
  • Working with prospects to identify new business opportunities, managing through the sales cycle and closing complex transactions;
  • Address customer executives and directors as your main point of contact in the customer’s organization, such as CTO, Head of Architectures/Strategies, Head Applications/Infrastructures/Cloud;
  • Leveraging the community, customer, and partner ecosystem in the US region to build a robust sales pipeline;
  • Collaborating across Akamas business functions (Solution Architects, Professional Services, and R&D) to ensure a seamless customer experience;
  • Supporting the sales enablement training delivery; 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in creating large complex enterprise-wide software sales deals;
  • You demonstrated the ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process in a competitive market;
  • You Persevere (never give up attitude) and possess a winning mindset in all that you do;
  • You are Fearless, allowing to keep the pace with our fast-moving markets while advancing us in the Customer Experience revolution;
  • You are Curious. You demonstrate a desire to learn and embrace coaching to continuously adapt and evolve;
  • You have a proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets;
  • You are skilled in building business champions;
  • You are fluent in English and Italian.

  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales);
  • Familiarity with performance, development and testing technologies is a plus.
